This Terms of Use (Terms) applies to the site (s) and mobile applications (together, “sites”) provided by The Knowledge Compass Inc. (Knowledge Compass), a company headquartered in Pompano Beach, Florida, USA.

By using the sites or downloading materials from the sites, you hereby agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth in this Terms of Use. In the event of you not agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are requested by Knowledge Compass not to use the site or download materials.

Knowledge Compass hereby grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for the term hereof to access and download, display, and print one copy of the site content on any single computer solely for your internal, business use, provided that you do not modify the site content in any way (including creating derivative works thereof), that you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices displayed on the site content, and that you otherwise comply with these Terms.

You represent that you have the lawful right to submit such information and agree that you will not submit any information unless you are legally entitled to do so. Because of the open nature of the Internet, we recommend that you not submit information you consider confidential.

You acknowledge and agree that Knowledge Compass shall own and have the unrestricted right to use, publish, and otherwise exploit any and all information that you post or otherwise publish on the site in postings, forums or message boards, questionnaire, survey responses, and otherwise, and you acknowledge and agree that, by providing us any such submission, you automatically grant, and hereby do grant, to us a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, assignable, sublicensable, fully paid-up, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license and right to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, modify and otherwise exploit such submission for any purpose, and in any form or media, not prohibited by applicable law.

In addition, you hereby waive all claims against Knowledge Compass for any alleged or actual infringements of any rights of privacy or publicity, intellectual property rights, moral rights, or rights of attribution in connection with Knowledge Compass use and publication of such submissions.

You covenant that you shall not post or otherwise publish on the site any materials that:

  1. Are threatening, libelous, defamatory, or obscene;
  2. Constitute or encourage conduct that would constitute, a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate law;
  3. Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third parties;
  4. Contain a computer virus or other destructive software element;
  5. Contain advertising or promotional content;
  6. Constitute or contain false or misleading statements; Violate Knowledge Compass Terms of Use.

Knowledge Compass does not represent or endorse the accuracy of reliability of information posted to the Site by users. In addition, Knowledge Compass does not and cannot review all information posted to the Site by users and is not responsible for such information. However, Knowledge Compass reserves the right to refuse to post and right to remove any information, in whole or in part, for any reason or for no reason.

Unauthorized submissions

Knowledge Compass does not accept unauthorized idea submissions outside of formalized business relationships. To protect the interests of our customers and ourselves, we must treat the issue of such submissions with great care. Importantly, without a clear business relationship, Knowledge Compass cannot and does not treat any such submissions in confidence. Accordingly, please do not communicate unauthorized idea submissions to Knowledge Compass through this Site. Any ideas disclosed to Knowledge Compass outside a pre-existing and documented confidential business relationship are not confidential and Knowledge Compass may therefore develop, use and freely disclose or publish similar ideas without compensating you or accounting to you.

Knowledge Compass will make every reasonable effort to return or destroy any unauthorized idea submissions without detailed review of them. However, if a review is necessary in Knowledge Compass sole discretion, it will be with the understanding that Knowledge Compass assumes no obligation to protect the confidentiality of your idea or compensate you for its disclosure or use. By submitting an idea or other detailed submission to Knowledge Compass through this site, you agree to be bound by the terms of this stated policy.

Infringement and takedown

Knowledge Compass prohibits posting of any information that infringes or violates the copyright rights and/or other intellectual property rights (including rights of privacy and publicity) of any person or entity.

If you believe that your intellectual property right (or such a right that you are responsible for enforcing) is infringed by any information, on the site, contact to Knowledge Compass at the address shown below, giving a written statement that includes:

U.S. law provides significant penalties for submitting such a statement falsely.

Under appropriate circumstances, persons who repeatedly submit infringing or unlawful material will be prohibited from posting further submissions.

If you have applied for a position with Knowledge Compass. Knowledge Compass will retain your personal data associated with your application for a period of up to five (5) years.

Knowledge Compass is not responsible for any information you may disclose publicly in any chat rooms, message boards, or similar web pages, including those hosted on or linked to our sites. If you do not provide this information to us, we might not be able to process your application.

Knowledge Compass.com will use this information to assess your application and candidacy for the position to which you have applied. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, this may include:

  1. Evaluating your skills, capabilities and experience in relation to the qualification required for the position to which you have applied.
  2. Tracking feedback and interactions we have with you throughout the recruiting process.

We may also use your information when analyzing our internal recruiting processes to determine:

Minors
